Tee Off at the Charity Golf Tournament
The tournament planning, donations, pledges, and golf signups are going well! So far we have raised over $23,000.00 and have another $10,000.00 pledged but not yet collected. We have signed up 32 golfers as of 6/1/2010. We still need 40 more golfers to meet our goal, and we can handle a lot more than that. Betty Fletcher, MPM® RMP®, and Tony Drost, MPM® RMP®, may be calling you! We also have 17 Hole Sponsors who may be greeting you as you move through the course. This Year's Charity: CLO
The recipient of the proceeds is Creative Living Options (CLO) in Sacramento, CA. CLO clients, like my son AJ, receive income from Social Security for their housing and basic living expenses. The gaps in services that our donations will cover are dental and vision care, as well as the costs to set up a household, education, entertainment, and travel. Our donations will help many CLO clients expand their lives creating a balanced healthy lifestyle. AJ’s Story is on YouTube. It is not too late to donate and definitely not too late to sign up to golf! Signing up early will help to make this event a success and help with our planning. Do it today! Event Details
We will be playing a shot gun scramble format. Each four person team will start at a different hole at 8:30 am. Each person will hit their ball and then the four person team will select the best hit and move the other three balls to the best hit. Then everyone will hit again and select the best hit, moving all balls again to that spot until a ball is holed. No pressure! We will have three fights, Competitive, Fun, and Beginner. Lunch will be served at 1:30 pm. See you at China Creek in Seattle on October 13, 2010 just prior to the 2010 NARPM® National Convention and Trade Show. Transportation will be available from the hotel at approximately 7 am. You must sign up separately if you need transportation. We welcome guests who do not golf to join us for networking and support.
