Have you not completed your
NARPM® Code of Ethics Training?
The NARPM® Board of Directors approves, effective October 1,
2012, that anyone who has not completed the NARPM® Code of Ethics course
will become an Associate member. So what does that mean?
- Property Managers will join
NARPM® as an Associate Member – This will include International
Members.
- Once the Ethics course is
completed the member will be changed to a Professional Member.
- Any current members who
have not completed the Ethics Course will be changed to an Associate
Member until they complete the course.
- Associate Members will pay
annual renewal membership dues at an increase of $45.
- Associate Members can be
used in count to reach tier discount but will not be entitled to
discount.
- Associate Members will pay
increased registration fees for the National Convention of $50 and
Regional Events of $25.
- On website (www.NARPM.org) display Professional Member after
members name and a definition of a professional member will be added
that states: A Property Manager who has fulfilled all membership
requirements of NARPM® including the completion of the NARPM® Code of
Ethics training.
- Associate Members cannot
retain designations without completing the Ethics class.
- In order for companies to
retain the CRMC® designation, the main MPM® needs to be current on
their Ethics class.
- Only Professional Members
will be allowed to sit on the NARPM® Board of Directors.
- Chapters will be encouraged
to adopt the same verbiage in their bylaws referencing Associate
Membership.
- Associate Members are not
allowed to use or display any NARPM® logos.
There is still time to take the NARPM® Code of Ethics by
just clicking on this link
and choosing the 3 hour Ethics course. Use you member number and your
