Did you get your NARPM® Dues Bill that went out in October? If you did not receive your invoice please contact info@narpm.org to have a copy sent to you. Dues must be sent to National by January 3, 2011, in order to get the $50 dues discount. You can pay your dues online by logging on to Internet Member Services with your member number and password. If you forgot your password just retrieve it under the submit button. Forgot your member number? Send an e-mail to info@narpm.org. Give Back to the Industry by Volunteering in 2011 NARPM® needs your help by asking that you volunteer to help out in a committee for 2011. We have several subcommittee chair positions that are open. We need you to share your knowledge and expertise so please get involved by filling out the Join a Committee application. Thank you in advance for considering a volunteer position at National. REMINDER: Chapter Compliance was due December 1 Has your chapter started on their chapter compliance? A new electronic form is now available. You must be logged in to Members Only to gain access. Fill out the information, save it on your computer, and then submit by e-mail to gphillips@narpm.org. If you have any questions please send us a note. Two Partners in 2011 NARPM® is excited to announce the two Official Partners for 2011. Rentals.com has renewed their commitment to NARPM® and we have added PropertyWare as the second. NARPM.org gives you the ability to market your business through Find a Property Manager. To grow your market area, enter up to 10 zip codes that represent the general areas that your company manages property. This search on the website is a radius search for all property managers within a certain distance of the searched zip code. If you manage in different cities, it is recommended that you list zip codes for those different geographic regions. Only available to members of NARPM®. Do you have questions and don’t know where to get the answers? Only available to members of NARPM® are list serves to help you with your property management questions. There is a listserv also for business owners and managers where they can get company questions answered. For more information on these great services click here. You must be a member of NARPM® to sign up so please make sure you send your name with your request to join. Directions on how to sign up have been added to this site. NARPM® AFFINITY PARTNERS NARPM® has an affinity partnership with Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. and the Exclusive Agent for this agreement is Vicky Methven. Remember when contacting Pre-Paid Legal Services that Ms. Methven gives NARPM® back approximately 40% of her commission for every plan written through this Affinity program, and holds the affiliate membership at national well as a member of multiple chapters. In order for our organization to benefit, enrollment MUST take place through the link on our website (access through www.narpmpartner.com) or by contacting Vicky directly at (425) 890-0441 or vicky@sbsellc.com. Check out other affinity partners that NARPM® has agreements with! Regional Conference Planning is underway! In the spring of 2011 a NARPM® Regional Conference will be nearby (look at the column on the left of the page and pick out your region). Do you have a course you would like to present? Fill out the Call for Presentations and submit it to National by November 3. Do you like everything delivered Electronically? Then check out the e-version of the Residential Resource. If you are not receiving this magazine electronically NARPM® is offering members the ability to have the documents sent PDF format to your e-mail. The magazine can then be downloaded on your computer. You can make this decision by logging into NARPM® Internet Member Services using your member number found on your membership certificate. Once there choose Personal Information and then click on preferred media and choose method for the magazine delivery. Fax is not an option for the Residential Resource. Take a moment and update your information while you are there. If you have problems, just give us a call and we will make the change for you. Do you have a local or state chapter to call home?
