This is a monthly report for the entire NARPM® membership
from National's Executive Director. This report will keep you up-to-date on
what is happening in and around NARPM®.
NARPM® Convention
is right around the corner
NARPM® introduces a mobile app for the National Convention
and Trade Show thanks to Hero PM's, Mike Anderson. Download
the app and be up to date with the on-site program, layout of the
hotel, list of all vendors, and lots more.
This year’s convention will be exciting with over 100
first-timers, extra breakouts, an outstanding business development session,
and lots of time for networking. It will be a fun time to be in Dallas!

President Drost, MPM® RMP®, and committee chairs will give a
State of NARPM® report during the business meeting at the convention on
Thursday immediately following the membership awards. Make sure you are
there to hear the latest on what is happening in your association.
Handouts for the Workshops will be available here
for you to download and bring with you to Dallas. Watch for email with
details the week before the convention!
Staff is in convention mode and during the week of
convention please bear with us as there will be a skeleton staff at the
office. We will be back to full speed on the Monday following the event and
we appreciate your understanding.
Support
the Past Presidents
NARPM® Past Presidents are sponsoring a golf outing at the
convention. Whether or not you golf, come out and support this event whose
proceeds will go to Vogel Alcove who assists homeless children. This event
will be held Tuesday prior to the opening of the convention. Registration

2012 regional conference and broker retreat dates and
registration forms can be found here.
Eastern regional is still negotiating hotel contracts and will have their
dates in the next few weeks.

You can go there and click View All Events to see what NARPM® has coming up

Have you gone to the redesigned website?
There are still a few bugs that we are working out, but we have received
great feedback that the navigation is much easier and you like the look of
the site. If you find a broken link or something you would like to have
added just send us an email and we will
get it fixed immediately, or see what we can do to satisfy your request.
Chapter leaders, if you would like personalized training for your board
just let us know and we
will work to choose a date.
Ethics Requirement
Remember that by the end of the year all NARPM® members must
have taken the NARPM® ethics course in order to retain your membership.
These classes can be taken at any of the regional events or online.
Online Designation Courses
Have you taken any of the online courses NARPM® offers? Click
here to check them out. These classes can be taken at home or in your
office and are very interactive. This is an added service to make it easier
for you to get your designation.
Do you have questions and don't
know where to get the answers?
Only available to members of NARPM® are list serves to help
you with your property management questions. There is a listserv also for
business owners and managers where they can get company questions answered.

here. You must be a member of NARPM® to sign up so please make sure you
send your name with your request to join. Directions on how to sign up have
been added to the site.
What about the Residential
Resource delivered Electronically?
Check out the e-version of the Residential
Resource. If you are not receiving this magazine
electronically NARPM® is offering members the ability to have the documents
sent to your email in a flip page format. The magazine can then be
downloaded on your computer. You can make this decision by logging into
NARPM® Internet
Member Services using your member number found on your membership
certificate. Once there choose Personal Information and then click on
preferred media and choose method for the magazine delivery. Fax is not an
option for the Residential
Resource. Take a moment and update your information while you
are there. If you have problems, just give us a call and we will make the
change for you.
Dues Billing going Electronic
Electronic dues billing will take place right after
convention. Make sure your membership information is up to date and if you
do not wish to receive your bill electronically please update your billing
preference at NARPM.org.
