Our Instructors

Our instructors are active NARPM® members and principals in their own property management companies. They bring their practical experience to the classroom to enhance the learning process. These talented individuals are skilled at delivering the best possible training and are veteran educators.

Suzanne CameronSuzanne Cameron, MPM® RMP®

Suzanne Cameron, MPM® RMP®, began her real estate career in 1978, specializing in residential property management in 1981. She has been the president and broker of Around The Clock, Inc., CRMC®, in Kent, Washington since 1990. Her company added a condo and homeowners association department in 1992 and a sales department the following year. She manages and supervises fifteen personnel. She has been an active member of NARPM® since 1994. She started the King County Chapter the same year and helped to start five other chapters in her region while serving as a Regional Membership Coordinator form 1995 to 1997. She was a NARPM® National Director from 1995 to 1998 chairing the Legislative and Publications Committees and was chair of the last Midyear Conference in 2002. She has also served on the Membership, Convention, and Certification Committees.

Tony DrostTony Drost, MPM® RMP®

Tony started First Rate Property Management, Inc. (FRPM) in 1995. FRPM currently manages over 800 units and employs 13 people. He has a BA Degree in Operations Management, which gave him the tools to be an effective manager. However, Tony credits his involvement with NARPM® for the real financial success and streamlining of his company. Over the years, Tony has applied what he has learned from NARPM® and its members, and has delegated the day-to-day operations to staff members. He focuses on strategic planning for the company and is constantly seeking out new ways to become more efficient. Tony learns something new at every NARPM® event and looks forward to networking with you.

Betty FletcherBetty Fletcher, MPM® RMP®

Betty is owner and principal broker of Fletcher Property Management, Inc., CRMC®, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has managed residential rental property since 1992 and is currently managing about 260 units for 88 owners. Searching for property management-specific education, Betty joined NARPM® in September 1999 and is the founding president of the Central Arkansas Chapter. She also served as chair of the 2003-2004 Membership and 2006 Editorial Committee. Earning her RMP® designation in February 2001, Betty continued striving for excellence and received the prestigious MPM® designation in September 2002. Fletcher Property Management, Inc. is proud to be the first in Arkansas to have earned the CRMC® designation.

Kit GarrenKit Garren, MPM® RMP® CPM®

Kit has been an active professional in property management services since founding IPM Corp. In 1986, the company, which now has a management portfolio of approximately 1100 units, specializes in the management of single-family rental homes and homeowner associations. Kit is a past president of the National Association of Residential Property Managers, and is one of the individuals nationwide to have earned the designation of Master Property Manager (MPM®). Kit also holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Vickie GaskillVickie Gaskill, MPM® RMP®

Vickie started her career in property management over 26 years ago. Originally, she worked as a vendor that serviced the property management industry. She came to work for Bell-Anderson and Associates, LLC, in May of 1986. In September of 2002, she and her husband, Tim, purchased the company. Vickie has earned four professional designations: two from NARPM® (MPM® and RMP®), and two from the Institute of Real Estate Management (CPM® - Certified Property Manager and ARM® - Accredited Residential Manager). In 2005, Bell-Anderson was approved as an IREM® Accredited Management Organization (AMO®). Vickie has managed homeowner's associations, single-family dwellings, small multi-family communities, and a few small commercial properties.

Sylvia Hill, MPM® RMP®Sylvia Hill

Sylvia is the broker/owner of H.M.S. Development, Inc., CRMC®, which has offices in San Jose and Monterey, CA. Her company specializes in the management of single family rental homes and has a maintenance division that does both maintenance and remodels. Sylvia is a NARPM® past president (2007), and has served on boards and committees at the local, state, and national levels. She teaches convention courses and seminars in addition to the RMP® and MPM® courses. Sylvia was also the Technical Reviewer for the book The Unofficial Guide to Managing Rental Property. Her background with IBM as a Programmer and Critical Situation Manager brings a unique perspective to her classes.

Dave HoltDave Holt, MPM® RMP®

Dave is the president of R.P. Management, CRMC® in Minneapolis, Minnesota where his company manages over 500 single family and small residential rental properties. Dave holds the Master Property Manager (MPM®) and Residential Management Professional (RMP®) designations and his company holds the Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC®) designation. He served on the National Board of Directors from 1991 through 1995 and again in 2004. As a Board member, he served as chair for the Education, Convention, Nominating and Long Range Planning Committees and was the National President during the 1994-95 term. Dave now serves NARPM® through committee involvement, teaching convention courses and seminars and the RMP®/MPM® courses.

Darryl KazenDarryl Kazen, MPM® RMP®

Daryl retired from the United States Air Force in 1985, after nearly 23 years of active duty serving in Texas, Thailand, Great Britain, Spain and New Mexico, to get his real estate license and pursue a career in property management. Daryl joined NARPM® in 1994, as the 655th member, because of the industry-specific education available. Now, over ten years later, he can teach others as NARPM® taught him.

Mark KreditorMark Kreditor, MPM® RMP®

Mark is the broker/president of Get There First Realty, CRMC® of Dallas, TX. His firm manages over 1200 rental properties of all rental ranges. His firm has been in business for over 20 years. Mark is a past national president of NARPM®, holds the Master Property Manager (MPM®) designation and his company holds the Certified Residential Property Management Company (CRMC®) designation.

Robert LockeRobert Locke, MPM® RMP®

Robert graduated from Michigan State University in 1969 with a degree in Business and Marketing. Robert got his real estate license in 1973 and has practiced real estate sales, investing and property management ever since.  He and his wife, Betty, have bought over 200 houses for their own account and have located over 1,000 houses for their investor clients.

Robert started managing rentals for other investors in 1980 out of his basement as Crown Management Corporation and over 7,000 tenants have rented from Crown since then. Crown currently manages over 700 single-family rental homes in the Atlanta area. Crown’s clients include private investors, Real Estate Investment Trusts, banks, government agencies, builders, lenders and many other brokers.

Robert is past president and board member of the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers.  He received the Residential Management Professional (RMP®) designation in 1998, his Master Property Manager (MPM®) designation in 1999, and Crown received the Certified Residential Management Company (CRMC®) designation in 2000.

Peter MeerPeter Meer, MPM® RMP®

Peter is the president of Meer & Company, Inc., a single-family residential property management company with offices in Denver, Colorado. He has been a real estate broker for 16 years and is considered an expert in his area regarding single-family property management. He holds the Master Property Manager (MPM®) and Residential Management Professional (RMP®) designations and his company holds the Certified Residential Property Management Company (CRMC®) designation. He is also a certified instructor for the Colorado Association of REALTORS® as well as the Wyoming Association of REALTORS®. Peter is a former editor of the Residential Resource. He has served on the Certification, Publication, and Education Committees. He currently provides property management articles for both the Colorado and Wyoming REALTOR® newsletters.

Betsy MorganElizabeth "Betsy" Morgan, MPM® RMP®

Betsy has been in Property Management for 25 years. Before taking on her current position as Director of Residential Property Management for Prudential Tropical Realty in the Tampa Bay area, she handled a personal portfolio of 250 units, then became a regional and then state director of Property Management for Coldwell Banker Residential, Inc. She has earned the GRI designation from the National Association of REALTORS®, the Master Property Manager (MPM®) and Residential Management Professional (RMP®) designations from NARPM®, and, recently, the Professional Residential Manager (PRM) designation from the Florida Association of Residential Property Managers (FARPM). She enjoys teaching, volunteer service, and being a grandmother of five.

Ray ScarabosioRaymond Scarabosio, MPM® RMP®

Raymond is owner of Jackson Group Property Management in San Francisco, CA. Jackson Group manages approximately 385 units in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Raymond has been involved in the property management industry since 1982, and has been a member of NARPM® since 1992.  Raymond holds both the Master Property Manager (MPM®) and Residential Management Professional (RMP®) designations. He is a past NARPM® national president, and continues to be active on many national committees. His greatest achievement within NARPM® occurred at the 2001 National Convention where Raymond was presented with the President’s Award from his best friend, then NARPM® National President Melissa Prandi, MPM® RMP®.

Rose ThomasRose Thomas, MPM® RMP®

Rose has been a member since 1995. Entering the real estate industry in 1980 and licensed in 1981, Rose has been actively involved since. She has served NARPM® in a variety of cpacities including as a member of the Affiliate Committee, Editorial Committee Chair, and was editor of the Residential Resource. Additionally, she chaired the 2004 Annual Convention in Baltimore, is a past president of the Maryland Suburban Chapter, and, since 1999, has served on the Board of Directors as secretary, treasurer, vice-president, president-elect, and president. Rose founded Property Management People, Inc. (PMP) in 1980, and has served as president since 1981. PMP has two primary divisions (Residential Division and Community Association Division) that employ approximately 40 staff members in three offices and two large scale on-site properties.

Fred ThompsonFred Thompson, MPM® RMP®

Fred started his real estate career specializing in residential property management in 1988. After working for a broker, he decided to go independent with RE/MAX 200 Realty in 1998 and started the RE/MAX 200 Realty Property Management Division. Fred joined NARPM® in 1995 as a founding member of the Orlando/Central Florida Chapter, and has served as membership chair, first vice president, president-elect, and president. On a national level, he served as director in 2006, treasurer in 2007, president-elect in 2008, and president in 2009. Fred achieved his MPM® designation in 2006, having previously obtained his RMP® designation in 1997.
