Colorado Considers Rent Control Legislation
The Colorado General Assembly is currently considering legislation that would modify a decades-old prohibition on rent control so that municipalities and counties are able to negotiate and enter into agreements with developers, requiring them to develop based on the wishes of local government.

Arizona Inspection Program
In Mesa, the City is proposing an inspection program that “ gives city inspectors authority to enter rental properties they believe are falling apart, unsanitary or unsafe in any other way with the permission of the tenant, owner or court.”
