Michael McVety brings a diverse background and expertise to Realty Services. Having 6 years military experience and having worked as a school administrator for 2 years, he has helped with the direction of Realty Services for the last 25 years.

Michael has served on many Real Estate Property Management boards as well as multi-family boards to help promote professionalism in the industry as well as discuss issues with today's top leaders. He has served as:


President for the Lee and Collier County/ Southwest Chapter for the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). He served as President in 2000-4 and from 2013-2018.
State President for the Florida Association of Residential Property Managers (FARPM) in 2005. He has served on the state board for property managers for 9 years.
Vice-Presdient for the Southwest Florida Apartment Association in 2003 and involved in some capacity since 1994 until 2004. He served as Affilaite-Vice President for the Naples Area Apartment Association for 3 years.

Michael has his Real Estate License and his Broker's license. He has given numerous seminars to many groups of professionals including property managers (NARPM's 1997 National Convention and many Florida State Conventions) , real estate investors, condominium groups and the apartment industry. His areas of speaking about property management include (but not limited to) limiting your liability, business growth, leadership, property management systems and tenant selection. Michael has obtained his Residential Management Porfessional (RMP) and Master Property Manager (MPM) designation from NARPM and there are fewer than 200 MPMs in the nation.

After purchasing investment real estate in Manatee County in the late 90’s and recognizing the dearth of management options, Andy founded Gulf Coast Property Management in 2003. Starting out with just one property owner, Andy has driven the growth of the company and firmly established Gulf Coast Property Management as one of the premier property firms in the region. Originally from the UK, where he served 14 years as a police officer, Andy has relished every step of his entrepreneurial journey.

Always seeking new and innovative ways to improve the rental ownership experience for property owners, Andy is encouraged by the improvements made in the property management industry. He believes that the advent of new technology is at the cornerstone of the industry's growth. He strives to incorporate this technology at the very heart of Gulf Coast Property Management, while continuing his commitment to providing professional, trustworthy service. Andy holds key positions within organizations such as NARPM and VRMA, allowing him to help shape the future of this growing industry.

True to his roots, Andy still harbors a passion for all sports, especially rugby and golf. He lives locally with his wife Jenny and their young son Warwick.

Mike has a degree in Real Estate from the University of Georgia, is a licensed broker, has the GRI designation from NAR, along with the RMP and MPM designations from NARPM.
Mike teaches property management and real estate investing for NARPM, the Georgia Association of Realtors, and other real estate organizations across the country. The Georgia Real Estate Commission selected Mike to serve on their Education Advisory Committee to represent the property management industry.

Outside of real estate Mike has been married for 37 years and has 3 grown sons.

Derek Seal, MPM, RMP, CRMC, is the Principal Broker for Maxfield Property Management in Sandy, Utah, and Designated Broker for NextHome Experts in Arizona. Derek started his property management company in 2010 after seeing the need to help owners when they unexpectedly became landlords during the housing crisis. Derek joined NARPM soon thereafter. Derek now manages more than 125 properties in Utah and Arizona. Derek is a member of the NARPM Phoenix Chapter and the NARPM Utah Chapter. Derek has served on several committees since 2010. In 2019, he served on the following committees: NARPM Utah Chapter Government Affairs Chair, NARPM® Governmental Affairs Committee Member, NARPM® Professional Development Committee Member, Utah Apartment Association Board Member, Utah Association of REALTORS® Government Affairs Committee (Committee Member since 2010). Derek is a Certified Real Estate Continuing Education Instructor in Utah. In 2019, Derek was the recipient of the Darryl Kazen Memorial Scholarship. Derek was the 2020 NARPM® Utah Chapter President served as the Southwest Region Ambassador during the 2020-2021 calendar year.

AJ Shepard is a licensed property manager in the state of Oregon and also a licensed Contractor in Oregon. His experience in real estate starts more than 10 years ago in the contracting business. Finding his passion in real estate and construction management has created an avenue for Uptown Properties to help provide all services necessary to its clients. Knowing the trade and the ability to manage many allows for streamlined maintenance for the investors property at a reduced cost.

My name is Marc Witmer, REALTOR, and I joined the ALPS staff in 2007. I earned a B.A. in Jazz Composition as well as a M.M. in Jazz Theory from the University of Texas in Austin. Before entering the real estate world in 2004, I had over 20 years of various management experience in retail sales, software operations and development, local government division head, as well as full time ministry as a worship director. Attention to details as well as compassion in dealing personally with clients brings a unique strength for property management. Biography:
John R. Bradford, III, obtained his North Carolina Broker’s license in mid-2003 and started Park Avenue Properties on a part-time basis with two other partners as a Real Estate Development firm. In early 2007, John became the firm’s sole owner, moved the office to its current location and re-invented the firm into a Real Estate and Property Management firm.

John is a Charleston, SC, area native. He holds an Engineering degree from Clemson University where he graduated in December 1996 with Engineering Honors and Cum Laude. While attending Clemson he was a member and, ultimately, served as President of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He received the University’s coveted Greek Man of the Year Award in 1996. Today, he serves as Vice President of the Housing Corporation for the Clemson Chapter.

Immediately out of college he worked for Exxon as a Sr. Environmental Engineer and Territory Manager for 3 ½ years. In August 1998, Exxon sponsored John in the University of Memphis’ Executive MBA program and was their youngest student ever to be accepted into the program. John served as the University of Memphis mascot, Pouncer, for the two years he was enrolled in the program. In June 2000, John graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was recruited by IBM Corporation. John worked at IBM for almost 10 years and served in various roles including Management and as an award-winning Sales Executive.
