Description:

Seeking Head of Capital Improvements to run all maintenance for 2000 unit portfolio with assets in VA, FL and GA. Reporting to COO, this person will oversee scope of work for budgeted projects, 5-year capital plans, participate in due diligence on new acquisitions, recommend repairs, renovations, assist with cost estimates, oversee construction renovation and all capex projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

A detail oriented, organized, prompt demeanor is required. Good communication with contractors, staff and management essential. This person should have at least 7 years of progressive responsibility in a similar function in a multi-family apartment setting with experience running projects with complex scopes in multiple locations. Demonstrated ability to read, write and communicate to develop, comprehend, and complete legal, financial, construction, property management and HR documents and reports. Travel to different sites is required. Hands on maintenance or construction experience require. High school degree with college preferred.

Compensation:

$125,000 – $145,000
