Description:
This is a fast-paced professional work environment with a local office of the largest residential property management company in the country. The “residential” Property Manager is responsible for providing our clients, residents and agents with top-tier customer service and excellence in management services. Real Property Management Rental Direction is a local family owned and operated office that manages single family and small multi-family properties.
- Daily hands-on management of residential property portfolio in Cape Coral.
- Complete market rental evaluations and lease renewals.
- Prepare lease advertisements and manage active lease listings in MLS and Appfolio.
- Maintain regular proactive communications with clients and residents.
- Understand and answer questions on Client and tenant accounting statements / ledgers.
- Manage resident delinquencies, collections and lease compliance.
- Handle security deposit disputes in conjunction with maintenance and office manager.
- Perform phone and office reception coverage as needed.
- Perform occasional Eviction in compliance with lease and Florida Property Code.
- Attend and contribute to weekly office meetings for continuous improvement of procedures and processes.
Requirements:
Required Skills and Abilities
- Superb customer service skills are a must with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have Florida Real Estate License (may consider newly licensed based on experience).
- 2-3 years’ experience with property management, administrative, or business management.
- Ability to operate and excel in a small team environment.
- Ability to perform and function independently with minimal daily supervision.
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, MLS, and property management software applications (Appfolio is a plus!).
- Ability to solve problems, multi-task, and deal with conflict resolution while maintaining a good sense of humor!
Compensation:
- $40,000-45,000 based on experience.
- 6 paid holidays.
- 3-weeks paid vacation.
