MasterKey Property Management – Raleigh-Durham, NC
MasterKey Property Management is hiring a full-time Assistant Property Manager. This is a field-based, entry-level role ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the property management industry. Please note: we exclusively manage long-term residential rentals—we do not manage HOAs, apartment complexes, or vacation properties.
About the Role
This field-based role is responsible for tracking property condition, managing inspections, coordinating vendor work during turnovers, and supporting rental marketing with updated photos and listings. You’ll work independently across properties while staying connected to the office team to ensure everything is ready on time for new residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete property move out inspections and document conditions
- Coordinate turnovers and make-ready activities
- Track & manage vendor work and follow up on task completion
- Capture quality property photos for listings
- Keep systems updated with notes, tasks, and communication
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: On the road in the Triangle area
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Aptitude for thinking ahead and managing moving parts
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
- Willingness to learn new software and tools quickly
- Comfortable working independently and traveling between properties
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
- Located in the Raleigh, Durham, Triangle area.
- Property management experience preferred but not required
Compensation:
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $40k-$45k: based on experience
- Fixed mileage reimbursement
- Paid vacation after 90-day probationary period
