Ben Jones, Governmental Affairs Director – NARPM

NARPM is thrilled to welcome Ben Jones to the Advocacy team as our new Governmental Affairs Director. Ben brings a wealth of legislative and political experience that will be a tremendous asset as we continue to champion the interests of residential property management professionals across the country.

Ben joined NARPM in 2026 after serving two sessions in the Virginia State Senate as Chief of Staff for Senator Adam Ebbin — a role that gave him firsthand insight into the legislative process, stakeholder engagement, and the art of building policy consensus.

Originally from Franklin, Tennessee, Ben graduated from Auburn University in 2014. He subsequently spent a decade working on electoral campaigns in six states and the District of Columbia — experience that sharpened his understanding of diverse political landscapes and the communities NARPM serves. That grassroots campaign background, combined with his time in the state legislature, positions him uniquely to advance NARPM’s advocacy agenda at both the state and federal levels.

“Ben’s combination of campaign strategy and legislative expertise is exactly what NARPM’s Advocacy program needs as we navigate a rapidly evolving policy environment for residential property managers.”

Ben now calls the Brookland neighborhood in Northeast Washington, D.C. home, where he lives with his fiancé. His proximity to the Capitol will be a natural advantage as he engages with lawmakers, regulators, and coalition partners on behalf of NARPM members nationwide.

Please join us in giving Ben a warm NARPM welcome! We are excited to see the impact he will make for our members and the broader property management industry.
