Be an Instructor

When it comes to NARPM® instructors, you can throw away any adages about those who can’t do—teach! The instructors who teach NARPM® classes are experienced property managers and leaders in the profession. Most own their own companies or are partners in the company that employs them. They hold NARPM® designations. Many have previous teaching experience in other venues and most have extensive public speaking experience.

Teaching is Fulfilling

We can all relate to the gleam in someone’s eyes when they “get it”. You can be the generator of that gleam and the beneficiary of the energy that comes back from the students. We’ve listed the requirements to be a NARPM® instructor below and here’s the application to be an instructor.

Basic Requirements to be a NARPM® Instructor:

  1. The Applicant must be a member of NARPM® for a minimum of two years.
  2. The Applicant must have demonstrated advanced achievement in area of expertise by earning the MPM® (Master Property Manager) designation.
  3. The Applicant must submit a 15-minute recording of themselves teaching a section of one of NARPM®’s provided courses, utilizing Zoom. This will demonstrate competence and capability in presenting material the Applicant did not author, as well as a mastery of Zoom, which are unique requirements for any NARPM® Instructor.
  4. The Applicant must submit a completed application
  5. Provide three (3) additional references for speaking/training assignments outside of any NARPM national, regional, state, or local conferences or events.

As an instructor you will find great benefits for your company and your personal growth with the information you learn from others around the country. NARPM® needs you! Help shape our MMP®, RPM®, and CSS® candidates by becoming an instructor. You have valuable knowledge and industry experience that will enhance each NARPM® education course.
