NARPM is pleased to announce that Members now have access to a Legal Hotline – a Member benefit connecting you with experienced legal professionals who understand the complexities of residential property management.

Do you have questions about federal property management laws, regulations, or best practices? Then visit https://www.narpm.org/members/resources/legal-hotline/ to log in, check a box agreeing to certain conditions of use, and submit your question!

You will then receive a response to your question within 48 hours.

NARPM has partnered with The Gilroy Firm and its Founding Member and Managing Partner, Monica Gilroy, Esquire, to answer Legal Hotline questions. Monica is a nationally recognized property management attorney and frequent speaker at NARPM National and NARPM Chapter events. She is also Outside Property Management Counsel for NARPM National.

Initially, the Legal Hotline will be limited to federal law, regulations and best practices related to Lead-Based Paint, Fair Housing, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Antitrust law, ICE enforcement actions/subpoenas, federal subpoenas/discovery requests, Employment Discrimination, and the Fair Labor Standards Act (Overtime, Misclassification of Staff).

However, as demand for other inquiries concerning additional federal topics arise these topics will likely be added as eligible for the Legal Hotline.
