Melissa began her career in Property Management in 2013, as a part-time front desk receptionist for a Property Management company in Missoula, while also attending the University of Montana-Missoula. She was studying to become an elementary school teacher, but decided that teaching was not the career path that she wanted to continue on, so she remained in Property Management. She became a MT Licensed Property Manager in early 2014, and has been a NARPM member on & off since then. In 2021, she decided to step up and volunteer on the Board of the Western MT Chapter. She is currently serving as the 2024 Chapter Past President and obtained her RMP designation in June of 2023.
