Derek Seal, MPM, RMP, CRMC, is the Principal Broker for Maxfield Property Management in Lehi Utah. Derek started his property management company in 2010 after seeing the need to help owners when they unexpectedly became landlords during the housing crisis. Derek joined NARPM soon after that. Derek now manages more than 250 properties in Utah. Derek is a member of the NARPM Phoenix Chapter and the NARPM Utah Chapter. Derek has served on several committees since 2010. In 2019, he served on the following committees: NARPM Utah Chapter Government Affairs Chair, NARPM Governmental Affairs Committee Member, NARPM Professional Development Committee Member, Utah Apartment Association Board Member, Utah Association of REALTORS Government Affairs Committee (Committee Member since 2010). Derek is a Certified Real Estate Continuing Education Instructor in Utah. In 2019, Derek was the recipient of the Darryl Kazen Memorial Scholarship. Derek was the 2020 NARPM Utah Chapter President and served as the Southwest Region Ambassador during the 2020-2021 calendar year.
