Description:

Richmond Property Management company seeks EXPERIENCED, mature, full-charge Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate must be highly organized and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. Accuracy, dependability, a positive attitude, and good communication skills are essential.

 

 

Requirements:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Accounts Receivable including input of rental payments, escrow, and preparation of daily bank deposits.
-Accounts Payable including online distribution to clients, payment of all bills and proper tracking between jobs and clients.
-Year-end 1099 processing.
-Daily journal entries.
-Preparation of monthly financial reports.
-Client and customer interaction, and record reporting.
-Payroll preparation.
-Monthly reconciliation of all bank and credit card accounts, including auditing of escrow accounts.
-Monthly tax reconciliation, and quarterly/annual tax preparation for Accountants.
Other Criteria:
-5+ year’s experience. Accounting degree or equivalent experience required.
-Proficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Excel, and have experience with property management software.
-Well spoken with good letter writing skills, and phone etiquette.
-Type a minimum of 50 wpm.
-Assist with answering phones/emails for team.
-Thorough background check required, including Bookkeeping/Accounting test.

Compensation:
